The Chrono Diamond Argos was named after the correspondent hero and fellow of Jason from the argonaut myth of Apollonios of Rhodos. The rugged chronograph shall provide stability and dependability at a time when every day seems to pass faster – like the ship built from Argos, which carried the travellers in quest for the Golden Fleece imperturbably through adventures and the seas and, in the end, home again.
Inside the Argos provides a swiss made quartz caliber the needed power for the functions, this chronograph features. Apart from time and date (day and month displayed in two separate windows on eleven and one o’clock) the three subdials on two, six and ten o’clock show the different functions of the chronograph.
With a weight of 91 grams in total the watch is one of the lighter models of Chrono Diamond, but it rests comfortably heavy and stable on the wrist. The case is 44 milimeters in diameter and is not overlooked lightly. But these days big watches are a must-have and with a height of 13 milimeters and his elegant looks the Argos still retains its understatement.
In our optinion the optically most appealing model of the provided is the one with the black finish. The white numerals and hands stand out nicely and make the dial incredible easy to read. But the models in pink gold, steel gray and gold (the gold one comes with a white leather bracelet instead of a black one) are undeniably quite charming too – so maybe the choice will not exactly be an easy one for you.
The Argos is water-resistant up to 5 ATM.
