James Bond returned to the cinemas and we are all excited to see our favourite spy back on screen. To celebrate the new movie “Spectre” Omega released not only the official watch – the Omega Seamaster 300 “Spectre” Limited Edition (which we reviewed here) but also a limited edition Seamaster Aqua Terra 150M model, inspired by the Bond family coat of arms. And it is absolutely gorgeous.
This Omega Seamaster comes with an eye-catching dial on which the Bond family coat of arms is repeatedly interlocked to create a dynamic pattern on the blue PVD dial. The symbol is also found near the tip of the yellow central seconds hand. The seconds hand and the other yellow details enhance the radiant blue dial.
The dial is protected by a domed scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective treatment on both sides.
Among the most striking elements of this 41.5 mm stainless steel timepiece is the oscillating weight. This component is skeletonized and has been cut and shaped to resemble a gun barrel, a design feature that is associated with James Bond. It can be watched through the transparent case back. Apart from the unique rotor the movement is the same as the calibre 8508 in the other Aqua Terra Master Co-Axial collection timepieces.
The limited edition number of the watch is engraved on the caseback, as is the proclamation of its magnetic resistance. Powered by the completely new Omega Master Co-Axial calibre 8507, this timepiece is resistant to magnetic fields greater than 15,007 gauss and has a power reserve of 60 hours.
The stainless steel case is presented on a matching strap and a coated nylon fabric strap is included in the watchbox.
This watch with the striking design and the amazing colours and a water resistance of 150 metres is limited to 15,007 pieces.
