The watch we are introducing today is guaranteed to make the hearts of lovers of complex timepiece designs beat faster. The Hindenberg Air Fighter shows slight similarities with the Breitling Navitimer; individual design elements honour the famous classic while maintaining its very own personality. In this watch, Hindenberg combines a decent performance with a strong look – what more could you want?
The dial comes with a classic design and is, despite its complexity, fairly easy to read. To ensure perfect readability even under poor lighting conditions, the skeletonized hands and the indexes are coated with lume.
Although it may seem so at first glance, the Hindenberg Air Fighter is not a chronograph. The three subdials do count and minutes. The subdial at three o’clock shows the month, the one at nine o’clock the day, and the one at six o’clock provides a wonderfully detailed day-/night display in combination with a 24-hour display. The Air Fighter also provides a date window at 4.30 a.m..
The dial is protected by a scratch-resistant sapphire crystal.
The Hindenberg Air Fighter comes with a polished stainless steel case. The knurled bezel rounds off the look perfectly. With a water resistance of 5 atm, this watch meets all the challenges one might come across in everyday life.
As with all its watches, Hindenberg offers a large number of different versions. Some come with a PVD coating in black or gold, and of course there are also two trendy bi-color models.
Inside the case a reliable automatic movement is working, the caliber H-09.120. It can be seen through the bottom of the case.
The Hindenberg Air Fighter comes with different case colors as well as different colored dials – classic in black and white, but also in bright red and blue. Most designs feature a sleek stainless steel bracelet; those who prefer leather bracelets have a choice of three different models.
