Today we like to introduce a ladies watch from Swiss manufacutrer Mathieu Legrand: The Éclatante. This distinctive chronograph is available in three different looks – in pink gold, gold and stainless steel. Our personal favourite is the model in pink gold. The bezel is covered with approximately 70 zirconia – and looks great!
With 38 mm in diameter plus pushers and crown the Mathieu Legrand Éclatante is a striking model on your wrist and therefore very popular. Despite the size of the watch (and to be honest, big watches are super-hot right now!) it looks stunning and elegant on the wrist and can easily be worn for all occasions.
Above and below the crown are two pushers which control the three subdials and therefore the chronograph functions. The subdials are centrally and synchronously arranged so that they don’t interfere with the readability of the time. For an ideal legibility even in precarious light conditions, the indices as well as the hour and minute hands are coated with luminous paint.
In addition to the subdials, which cover the chronograph functions, the Mathieu Legrand Éclatante also provides a date display. It is the only thing that can be objected at the appearance of the otherwise so balanced and gorgeous watch. Because of the white background of the date display it stands out very bluntly and we would have liked it better if it had come in a color matched to the dial.
Inside the Éclatante is a swiss made quartz movement working – reliable and dependable. Since this wristwatch from Mathieu Legrand is waterproof and pressure tested to 10 ATM, it leaves nothing to be desired. This is a beautiful, solid watch for everyday use, with striking features and absolutely charming good looks.
