After the Aikon Quartz in 2016 and the automatic models in 2018, Maurice Lacroix now presents the Aikon Venturer. In terms of comfort and design, the Aikon Venturer is distinguished by all the features that define the spirit of the Aikon.
The Maurice Lacroix Aikon Venturer is a rugged and modern watch, designed and made for the life of active men in the urban jungle.
With the Aikon Venturer, modern adventurers are equipped for all the challenges of everyday life. Robust, uncluttered, comfortable – the design shows the strength of a Maurice Lacroix Aikon. Powerful, but not rough, robust, but not massive, modern, but not futuristic, this wristwatch attracts attention. Its high level of detail and the energy it radiates are directly linked to the aesthetic features of the Aikon.
The case of the Aikon Venturer is made of stainless steel. Maurice Lacroix has opted for a combination of matte surfaces and polished edges, creating beautiful contrasts. In the Venturer, the six riders of the bezel, a hallmark of the Aikon, also play a functional role: they protrude slightly beyond the actual ceramic bezel, making it easier to turn it. The riders are engraved with 10-minute-divisions, a feature that responds to the demands of diving.
Accordingly, the Aikon Venturer is waterproof to 30 atm.
Maurice Lacroix has equipped the Aikon Venturer with a blue or black sun-brushed dial. The indices alternate between round and rectangular and are equipped with Super-LumiNova for best readability. The hands are broad and simple, also testifying to the watch’s versatility.
A “Vagues du Jura”-motif is found on the screwed case back, which surrounds the engraved M logo. Behind it, the automatic movement ML115 is working reliably and tirelessly at a frequency of 4 Hz.
Maurice Lacroix delivers the Aikon Venturer with a rubber strap in the same color as the dial.
