Frédérique Constant unveiled three new, Vintage Rally limited edition watches inspired by one of the most stunning British sports car in history, the Austin Healey.
Classic cars and mechanical watches have always made the perfect match and the collaboration between Frédérique Constant and Austin Healey isn’t a new one either since it reaches back 12 years. This longstanding partnership now results in the new Vintage Rally timepieces.
Inspired by the classic and sports car of yesterday these new models are presented in a 40 mm polished 3-part case, either in stainless steel or rose gold plated. Each of the three versions feature a color ring on the dial – a subtle wink to a car’s steering wheel.
The Arabic numerals and the hands of the hours and minutes are coated with Super LumiNova, which will glow in the darkest night. Completing the dial is the date window at 3 o’clock and the Healey logo at 6 o’clock. The watches feature a grey or off-white dial. The grey version only comes with the rose gold plated case; the off-white one with either that or a case in stainless steel.
Just like the Austin Healey performances, the Frédérique Constant FC-303 automatic movement encases in the Vintage Rally stands out due to its quality and accuracy. The Swiss-made calibre beats at a frequency of 28,000 VPH and delivers a 38-hour power reserve. It also drives the hours, minutes, seconds and date functions.
All watches come with a dark grey leather strap, finished with either white or red stitches that give an additional sporting allure to the watches.
Limited to just 2.888 numbered pieces, the case back is engraved with a Healey car and the individual number of the watch.
