Fueled by passion, excellence and artistry, Bulgari has just introduced its latest and sixth World Record-breaking design: The Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic Watch. This truly exceptional new creation hightlights a mechanical manufacture ultra-thin skeleton movement with a chronograph and tourbillon in a thickness of just 7.4 mm in total.
From the first model launched in 2014, Bulgari has set a whole series of groundbreaking thinness records with its Octo collection. And, as if that were not enough, the manufacture has more or less redefined the rules of watch design with the Octo Finissimo, creating a true cult watch.
The new Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic Watch combines the single-push chronograph with a tourbillon functions, driven by a peripheral oscillating mass for a 3.5 mm movement thickness. there is no equivalent including all these features on the market within such a reduced thinness. Among the innovations to deliver this development are refined technical solutions such as a horizontal clutch and a column wheel securing the best performances. This is precisely the mechanical skill for which Bulgari and the Octo collection are known.
The Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic Watch features two subdials at 3 and 9 o’clock and a tourbillon at 6 o’clock. Bulgari has skeletonized the dial so the BVL 388 calibre can be viewed through the dial, while providing even more in-depth looks through the sapphire crystal back.
The in-house movement operates at a frequency of 3 Hz and provides a power reserve of at least 52 hours.
The Octo Finissimo Tourbillon Chronograph Skeleton Automatic Watch is equipped with a 42-mm titanium case which is water-resistant up to 3 atm.
Bulgari delivers this chronograph on a titanium bracelet.
