Today we’re going to introduce a true classic in the current collection of Richtenburg: The Cassiopeia. No wonder, this model is so popular – it combines a powerful automatic movement with an extremely charming look and a lot of different versions to choose from.
The Richtenburg Cassiopeia is a women’s watch and with a diameter of 42 mm it is on the slightly larger side, but very fashionable nonetheless. This is a trend we’re not going to see disappear any time soon. The case itself is classically shaped right down to its beautiful lugs and the classic bracelet.
The real eyecatcher on the Cassiopeia is its bezel, as it is generously set with a lot of zirconia. In addition, it is elegantly channelled, adding another style element.
The dial of the Cassiopeia is dominated by three subdials. These give the watch the look of a chronograph without actually being one. Instead of being equipped with a time-stop function, the Cassiopeia offers the display of day and month. In addition, the watch provides a 24-hour display at 6 o’clock. To avoid a crowded look, Richtenburg has chosen a very restrained design overall. There are indexes instead of numerals, and the details on the subdials are also very simple and clear. Hours, minutes and seconds are displayed traditionally from the center, and at the 4 o’clock position a date window nestles closely against the shortened index.
The dial is protected by a hardened mineral glass.
The Cassiopeia is powered by a reliable, efficient automatic movement, the caliber RK060.
Richtenburg offers eight different models of the Cassiopeia. There is a stainless steel model equipped with a white or black dial and one version in all black. You can also choose between three models with a PVD-coating in yellow gold and two in pink gold with different colored dials.
