Recently, Raymond Weil has released the third The Beatles watch in his Maestro collection, continuing its collaboration with the world’s most famous rock band. Inspired by the legendary “Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band” album, this new limited edition features innovations in materials and design.
The maestro Beatles Sergeant Pepper’s Limited Edition comes in a 40mm stainless steel case featuring a yellow gold PVD coating. The case is water-resistant up to 5 atm.
The details on the grey dial show the famous drum that can also be seen on the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album, which served as a direct inspiration for this timepiece. The design of the drum occupies the entire centre of the dial and stands out subtly against the grey background. Galvanized details in yellow gold, matching the case, such as the outline of the bass drum, the Beatles logo at 6 o’clock and the extraordinary index at the 4 o’clock position, provide bright, outstanding accents.
The maestro The Beatles Sergeant Pepper Limited Edition displays hours, minutes and seconds. The balance of the design is not thrown off by a date window.
The maestro The Beatles Sergeant Pepper Limited Edition is powered by an automatic movement, the RW4200. The caliber provides a power reserve of 38 hours. It is visible through the smoked grey sapphire crystal case back, equipped with the official Beatles logo and an engraved limited edition number.
The watch comes with a black vegan leather strap – a novelty from Raymond Weil and I’m sure we’re not the only ones thrilled about it.
This timepiece, another tribute to the legendary Fab Four, is a limited edition of 3,000 pieces – worldwide. Each watch comes in an exceptional box, which also refers in its design to the famous band. This box is decorated in the bright colours of the suits, John, Paul, George and Ringo are wearing on the Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band album cover.
