Rado has expanded its True Square collection in a truly spectacular way. At the sight of the newest addition the hearts of watch lovers will beat faster and for those of us who are not already head over heels in love with the collection, be aware: The True Square Open Heart will take your heart by storm.
The square watch has long been an iconic look closely associated with the Swiss manufacturer. Now it appears for the first time in an injected monoblock high-tech ceramic case. Three now “Open Heart” watches are presented in signature Rado glossy black, gleaming white and pioneering plasma. The monobloc case with its gently rounded corners is both enduring and a truly modern, comfortable, ergonomic shape found in every aspect of everyday life. It measures 44.2 mm in height and has a diameter of 38 mm. In addition, the Rado True Square Open Heart is water resistant up to 5 bar or 50 meters.
The case of the Rado True Square Open Heart may be impressive but the focus of this watch is undoubtedly on the beautifully crafted dial which allows an unobstructed view of the movement. It pulls the wearer in who can lose serious time while being fascinated by the precise movement, the coiling and uncoiling of the balance spring, the gentle click of the cogs and wheel all turning in microscale. All that is protected by a robust, scratch-resistant sapphire crystal with anti-reflective coating on both sides.
While the black and plasma models keep it understated with their pink gold or blue hands and indices, paired with a generous amount of Super-LumiNova, the white version goes all out with the addition of 12 diamonds as indexes.
The Rado True Square Open Heart is powered by the ETA C07.631, an automatic movement. Apart from beautiful views it offers a very comfortable power reserve of up to 80 hours.
All Rado True Square Open Heart models are fitted with bracelets made of the same high-tech ceramic as the case.
