Rolex Adds Four New Datejust Models

Rolex just introduced four new versons of its Oyster Perpetual Datejust 31. One of it features a bezel set with brilliant-cut diamonds and an aubergine dial. Three other versions don’t sport diamond settings but new colours. All four watches are equipped with a high-quality automatic movement and are chronometer-certified. This is always a particularly nice bonus in women’s watches, because manufacturers still focus far too often exclusively on the visual appearance of those. But here, Rolex once more shows that diamonds and fine mechanics make for a beautiful combination.
The Datejust is the archetype of the classic watch in Rolex’s collection, offering timeless aesthetics and high functionality.

One of the new Rolex Datejust 31 models features a bezel set with 46 brilliant-cut diamonds and an aubergine dial that is adorned with a diamond-set Roman VI. The three other versions are fitted respectively with a mint green, sunray-finish dial, white lacquer dial or dark grey sunray-finish dial. All three of them are framed by fluted bezels in white gold.
The hands and indexes or Roman numerals on all four watches are in white gold and the sapphire crystal above the dials is adorned with a magnifying glass enhancing the date window at the 3 o’clock position.

All cases are made from Rolesor white, a combination of Rolex’s signature “Oystersteel” and white gold. This combination mirrors the elegance and performance that come together in these watches.
The light reflections on the side of the cases and lugs highlight the elegant profile of the 31 mm Oyster case which is not only known for its aesthetics but for its water-resistance which is 10 atm in these watches.

Rolex has equipped all for Datejust models with the automatic caliber 2236. This in-house movement operates at a frequency of 28,800 Hz and carries the Superlative Chronometer certification, which ensures excellent performance always.

All Datejust watches are fitted with an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet. Developed at the end of the 1930s, the three-piece link Oyster bracelet is known for its robustness. Supple and comfortable, the five-piece link Jubilee bracelet was specially created for the launch of the Oyster Perpetual Datejust in 1945.
