When most people think of Tudor, the classic sporty models like the Black Bay or the Heritage Chrono might first come into mind. But the manufacturer has always also offered a diverse collection within the dress watch segment, especially with the Glamour line. Now, Tudor has introduced its new Glamour Double Date with the help of brand ambassador David Beckham in Hong Kong. Aside from the familiar basic design, this watches feature an in-house caliber and a whole number of aesthetic alterations. After introducing the Black Bay GMT and the Black Bay Fifty-Eight at the Baselworld 2018, Tudor is now moving in a more elegant direction. Tudor is offering different versions of the Glamour Double Date. The watch is available in steel or steel and yellow gold with a choice of bracelets in genuine alligator, steel or steel and gold. The double bezel has a slight drop creating a characteristic relief and gently extends the curves of the polished steel case. The cases measure 33.8 mm in diameter and are water proof up to 10 atm. Tudor offers not only different cases and bracelets for the Glamour Double Date but also a variety of dials: silver, black, champagne-colored or in opaline white. It has two concentric rings. The central medallion is adorned with a thin vertical gadrooning. The outer ring has a sunray finish and is punctuated by elonged diamond-shaped hour markers (which, in some models are replaced by diamonds) and their geometry echoes that of the calendar. Lockated at 12 o’clock, it is made of a large double window, which is fully horizontal. At 6 o’clock, a small second beats time on a snailed background. The steel Glamour Double Date is with $3.200 the lowest priced version within the series and also the lowest priced Tudor featuring an in-house caliber.
